Following the free trial course, the student will be assessed on a variety of factors. Pricing will be based on the program that is deemed most appropriate for the student.
Classes take place each weekday evening, however, we encourage you to visit our schedule page for full class schedule information. Enrolled students are welcome to attend as many classes as desired.
This is different for every student and is based on individual performance and the pace of student development. We encourage every student to set the goal of achieving a black belt. Perseverance, hard work, and proper training are required.
Students should wear comfortable athletic clothes. We ask that you arrive a few minutes early so we can introduce you to the facility and programs.
This depends on the student and pace of advancement. Students must earn three stripes before they can test for the next belt. Testings are held every eight weeks and all stripes must be earned prior to testing.

Yes, Bridgeport ATA can accommodate a variety of special-needs students, including students in wheelchairs.
Yes, there are five regional tournaments each year and Bridgeport ATA students are encouraged to attend and compete, but it is not required for advancement.
